There are a number of airlines operating regular flights
to Beijing and China whether flying from the United States
or the United Kingdom.
Air France, KLM, Emirates Airways and Austrian Airways
all operate regular services to Beijing while Virgin Airways
flies to Shanghai.
Flight agency Travelocity is able to get air tickets from
a number of major airlines while if you live in the United
Kingdom, Expedia provide the same service.

Beijing Airport is about 16 miles north east of Beijing.
It has two terminals and the new Terminal 3 is scheduled to
open in early 2008, ahead of the Beijing Olympics, as is a
new direct metro line from the airport to the city centre.
Regular shuttle buses run between the two terminals. A
dedicated Airport Expressway links the airport with the
city centre. Beijing is eight hours ahead of GMT.
